Charging the card in case of no show or last minute cancellation

NOTE! This feature is supported only with the Stripe payment method! 

To apply fee, your guest must to make a reservation via widget. Our system doesn’t allow to take card details and add card details for phone reservations for security reasons.

How to charge card in case of late cancellation:

  1. If your guest calls you to cancel reservation, please find and open reservation via calendar or reservation list (the best is to ask for a date and guest name);
  2. Reservation with a saved card is with a note “Card saved” bellow prepayment field;
  3. To cancel a reservation, click “Cancel reservation” at the bottom left corner. If there is more than x hours, the system will allow you to cancel without any charges; if less – it will ask if you want to charge the card;
  4. Click yes and add the amount. The system will not allow charging more than you added to “Prepayment” settings. But you can charge less – 50%, 25% or nothing;
  5. Description – the reason of charge. This information guest will get by email from Stripe (please make sure that emails are ON (Stripe settings);
  6. If the system does not allow to charge, you will see a note at the top right corner. We cannot guarantee that card has enough funds or isn’t blocked.  

How to charge card in case of no show:

  2. Change reservation status to “No show”. Reservation with a saved card is with a note “Card saved” bellow prepayment field;
  3. Click Save;
  4. The system will ask if you want to charge the card, select yes;
  5. Click yes and add the amount. System will not allow charging more than you added to “Prepayment” settings. But you can charge less – 50%, 25% or nothing;
  6. Description – the reason of charge. This information guest will get by email from Stripe (please make sure that emails are ON (Stripe settings);
  7. If system does not allow to charge, you will see a note at the top right corner. We cannot guarantee that card has enough funds or isn’t blocked.
