Your event, offer, or experience uses its main cover image across different areas of Tablein.
The same image is displayed on the event page and is also used as the cover image in the Experiences section. Since the image is shown on different screen sizes and layouts, Tablein automatically crops it while always keeping it centered.
Following these guidelines will help ensure the most important parts of your image remain visible everywhere.
Recommended image size
- Canvas size: 1232 × 500 px
- Design your image using the full canvas.
Universal Safe Zone
The Universal Safe Zone is approximately 527 × 500 px, centered within the 1232 × 500 px canvas.
Keep all essential content inside this area, including:
- Event titles or promotional text embedded in the image
- Logos and brand marks
- Faces or people
- Food, drinks, or featured products
- Main visual focal points
- Any information that should always remain visible
Important: The safe zone is not the size of the banner. Your image should still fill the entire 1232 × 500 px canvas. The safe zone simply marks the area where important content should be placed to remain visible across different devices and layouts.
How cropping works
The image is always centered.
- Desktop screens display the widest view of the image.
- As the screen becomes narrower, the left and right sides are gradually cropped while the center remains visible.
- The same centered crop is also used when displaying your event in the Experiences section on your Tablein page.
For this reason, avoid placing important content close to the left or right edges of the image.
Backgrounds, decorative elements, textures, and other non-essential content can safely extend outside the safe zone.
Mobile devices
The safe zone is based on a 390 px reference mobile width.
Since mobile devices come in many different sizes:
- Wider phones may display slightly more of the image.
- Narrower phones may crop slightly more from the left and right edges.
For the best results, leave a little extra space around important content instead of placing it directly against the edges of the safe zone.
Best practices
- Design your image at 1232 × 500 px.
- Use the entire canvas for backgrounds and decorative visuals.
- Keep all important content inside the centered Universal Safe Zone.
- Remember that this single image is used in multiple places throughout Tablein.
- Treat anything outside the safe zone as optional content that may be cropped on smaller screens.
