Creating deposits
If you want to take prepayment navigate to Prepayment and events and click "Create New Offer."
Promotion
Enter a clear and engaging name for your event. This will be the primary title visible to customers during the booking process.
Description
Appears after the event title and is included in emails. Use this section to provide essential event details, such as:
- Event or Menu Details: Highlight key features, offerings, or special inclusions.
- Cancellation Policy: Clearly outline refund or rescheduling terms.
- Prepayment Information: Explain how and when payment will be processed.
- Additional Information: Include venue details, special instructions, or any other relevant information to ensure a smooth experience for attendees.
This section helps set clear expectations and provides guests with all necessary details before attending.

No-Show Fee
If you prefer to take deposit instead of saving card details or simply display information without enforcing a charge, leave this setting off.

Period
Specify the date or time period for which prepayment is required.
- One-Time Events: For events like Valentine’s Day, set the date range (e.g., 2025-02-14 to 2025-02-14).
- Recurring Events: For events repeating on specific days (e.g., every Friday and Saturday), select a broader period (e.g., 2025-03-30 to 2027-12-31) and choose the applicable weekdays.
- Time-Specific Prepayment: If prepayment is only required during certain hours (e.g., from 18:00 for dinner), use the Valid by weekday option to set the specific day and time.
Ensure your settings align with your booking and payment requirements.

Minimum Guests
Use this option to require prepayment only for groups larger than a specified size.
- Set a Minimum Guest Number: If you want to request prepayment for groups of five or more, enter 5.
- Apply to All Guests: If you want prepayment for every booking, leave this field empty.
This ensures flexibility in your prepayment policy while securing reservations for larger groups.

Offer type
Choose the appropriate offer type. The prepayment function works for all types, with the only difference being the title displayed:
- Special Offer – Shown as "Experience"
- Discount Available – Shown as "Discount"
- Special Event – Shown as "Event"
- Deposit – No title displayed (left empty)
Select the option that best suits your promotion or reservation requirement.

This feature allows you to set different fees for different dining areas in your restaurant.
- Example: Charge a different fee for indoor vs. outdoor tables.
If you want the same fee for all tables, select all areas under one fee.
This provides flexibility in managing prepayment or no-show fees based on the dining area selected by guests.

Priority Settings
- Priority determines which offer appears on the main booking widget page.
- Number 1 is the highest priority and will be displayed first.
- If multiple offers are available, only the one with the highest priority will be shown.
- If there is only one offer, priority does not affect its visibility.
Use this setting to highlight your most important offer for customers.

Information / Policy / Menu File
Upload a PDF file to provide detailed information about your special offer, event, or limited-time menu.
- The file will be accessible in your booking widget near the offer selection.
- Guests can open it in a new tab for easy viewing.
This feature ensures customers have all the necessary details before booking.
