If you want to create deposits in your restaurant, please follow these steps:
- First of all, you need to integrate some payment provider to your Tablein account, so go to your settings “3rd party integrations” and integrate one of our supported payment providers;
- All information how to integrate each payment provider you will find HERE;
- Go to your settings part “prepayments and events“;
- In the top right corner click on “create new”;
- Write promotion name (recommended to write deposit) and description. Promotion name will be visible in your widget and description will be sent to guest with confirmation email. In description field is strongly recommended to write your deposits refund policy;
- Select the period when you apply deposits and enter the minimum guest number;
- Leave “Late cancellation / No show fee” off as it is in the beginning;
- Select type: deposit;
- Select in which dining rooms you will apply deposits;
- On the “Pay online” function;
- Select how many hours you will wait customer payment and leave reservation as “pending”;
- Select charge mode: per person or per reservation.
- Per persons means that system will multiply amount by the number of guests.
- Per reservations means that system will charge the same amount regardless of how many people will be in the reservation;
- Set the price and currency;
- In “Information / Cancellation policy” you can add some extra information or your refund and reservation policy. NOTE! System allows to add only PDF file;
- Set up time by week days and click on “save”.
