To cancel a reservation in the system, follow these steps:
1. Open the Reservation
Click on the reservation in your calendar or list view to open the reservation window.
2. Change the Status to “Cancelled”
At the top of the reservation window, change the status to Cancelled.
3. Choose Whether to Notify the Guest
After selecting “Cancelled,” you’ll be asked whether you want to send an email cancellation notification to the guest.
Customizing the Cancellation Email (When the Restaurant Cancels)
The email sent when the restaurant cancels a reservation can be different from the one sent when the guest cancels. You can customize this email in the Email Settings:
How to Edit:

Go to Settings > Email Settings.

Scroll down to the All Email Templates section.

Find the template called:
“Cancellation email when restaurant cancels reservation” -
Click to expand the template.

Edit the text as needed.
At the bottom of the editor, you'll see a list of automatic replacements (e.g., reservation date, time, guest name).
Click on any placeholder to insert it where you want it to appear in the email.
Use the Preview button to see how the final email will look with actual reservation details.
