# Paypal Express Checkout integration

**PayPal Express** is an off-site payment method available for restaurants in all countries using **Tablein**. It allows you to accept payments via **PayPal** as well as **credit and debit cards**.

### **How to Integrate PayPal Express**

1. Go to [PayPal API Access](https://www.paypal.com/businessmanage/credentials/apiAccess) on your PayPal account.
2. Click **“Manage API Credentials”** under **NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic)**.
3. Select **“Request API Signature”**, then click **“Agree and Submit”**.
4. Your **API credentials** will now be displayed.
5. Open your **Tablein settings** and go to **“[3rd Party Integration](https://admin.tablein.com/settings/marketing-tools/third-party-integrations)”**.
6. Select **PayPal Express Checkout** and **enable** the **Gateway**.
7. Enter your **PayPal credentials**, including your **PayPal account email**.
8. To start accepting payments, you need to set up [**Prepayment and Deposits**](https://app.tablein.com/settings/prepayments-and-promotions) in your Tablein settings.
