Reservation statuses reflect the current state or progress of a booking within the system. Below are the different statuses and their meanings:
- Confirmed (Blue) – The reservation has been successfully booked and confirmed.
- Being Late (Blue with Red Tag) – Guests are running late. A red "Being Late" tag is added to the confirmed status, making it easier to track late arrivals.
- Seated (Green) – The guest has arrived and is seated for their reservation. The system automatically updates the status when the reservation begins (shown in green). If you prefer to change this manually upon arrival, you can disable the "Auto-Arrival" feature in settings.
- Partly Seated (Green with Tag) – Only part of the guest party has arrived while others are still expected. A "Partly Seated" tag is added to indicate this.
- Pending (Yellow) – The reservation request has been received but is not yet confirmed. This status applies when the guest hasn't fully approved the booking or when payment is still pending.
- No-Show (Red) – The guest did not show up for their reservation.
- Cancelled (Grey) – The reservation has been canceled, either by the guest or the restaurant.
- Walk-In – This status is used for guests arriving without a prior reservation. It helps in tracking occupancy and statistical reporting.
- Blocked (Red) – The restaurant has blocked specific tables or time slots, preventing reservations during those periods.
- Waiting List (Brown) – The guest is on a waiting list, meaning no slots are currently available, but they wish to be notified if one opens up.
