V3 version: Pre-booked status

Table Hold Status for Online Reservations

This status is visible only for V3 version users who can log in at admin.tablein.com.

Our updated system now includes a new status that allows you to see which tables are on hold for online reservations. These tables will be temporarily unavailable for booking by other guests.

How It Works:

  1. 3-Minute Hold: When a guest starts making a reservation through the online widget, the system will place a hold on the selected table for 3 minutes. During this time, the table will appear as a white reservation with no information in the system.

  2. Reservation Completion: The guest has 3 minutes to complete their reservation by adding all necessary details. If they finish within this time frame, the reservation will be confirmed and displayed with complete information.

  3. Hold Expiry: If the guest does not complete the reservation within 3 minutes, the hold will expire, and the table will become available for booking again.

Important Note:

  • If you see a white reservation with no information in the system, do not attempt to move it or add another reservation on top of it. This indicates that the table is currently on hold for an online reservation and will either be confirmed or released shortly.
